France Volontaires, CLONG Volontariat and GIZ conference at the European Parliament

 
 
Mrs Karima Delli, Member of the European Parliament (Greens/ALE), France Volontaires, CLONG Volontariat and GIZ invite you to a conference and debate with international volunteering organizations, members of European Parliament and European stakeholders on this issue.
 

Solidarity with emerging and developing countries : which future for European volunteering ? 

On the occasion of the European Year of Volunteering, our organizations would like to promote international volunteering for development and to place this form of cooperation with third countries on the European Year agenda.We wish to enable a discussion between Members of European Parliament and volunteers sending and hosting organizations from various member states, on the role of European Union in supporting international volunteering for exchange and solidarity with emerging and developing countries. Who can attend ?

The conference is open to all those interested in the topic : organizations of the EU and third countries sending or receiving volunteers, former and current volunteers, students in international cooperation and development, members of the European Parliament and Commissions, representatives of member states. 

How much does it cost ?

The conference is free. Lunch and coffee break will be provided. Travel expenses will not be covered by the organizers.
