La Commission Européenne souhaite la mise en place du Corps de Volontaires Européen d’Aide Humanitaire. En réponse France Volontaires travaille actuellement au montage d’un projet et lance un appel à partenariat.
Quoi ?
En janvier 2012, la Direction Générale Aide Humanitaire et Protection Civile (DG ECHO) a publié un appel à projets pilotes afin de mettre en place le Corps de volontaires européen d’aide humanitaire. France Volontaires travaille actuellement au montage d’un projet en réponse à cet appel.
Qui ?
France Volontaires est une organisation d’envoi de volontaires, une plateforme d’ONG françaises d’envoi de volontaires, et est mandatée pour soutenir le secteur du volontariat international en France. Elle gère un budget annuel de 17 millions d’euros et est présente dans plus de 60 pays.
Comment ?
L’axe directeur de ce projet est de souligner la valeur ajoutée du volontariat dans les contextes de pré- et de post-crise, à la fois comme vecteur de collaboration entre acteurs nationaux et acteurs humanitaires internationaux, et comme moyen d’apprentissage mutuel entre sociétés européennes et extra-européennes
en matière de gestion de l’urgence

France Volontaires invite les organisations du secteur - ONG humanitaire(s), organisme(s) de formation et d’évaluation, organisation(s) locale(s) - à manifester leur intérêtpour participer à la co-construction du projet et à sa mise en oeuvre.

Call for partnership : development of pilot project in response to European Commission’s call for proposales - European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps.
What ?
In January 2012, the European Commission’s Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (DG ECHO) published a call for pilot projects to set up the European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps. France Volontaire is currently working at a response to this call for proposals.
Who ?
France Volontaires is a volunteer-sending organisation, a platform of French volunteer-sending NGOs, and is also mandated to support the international volunteering sector in France. With an annual budget of € 17 million, it runs programmes in over 60 countries across the world.
How ?
Our project will aim at showing the added value of volunteers in pre- and post-crisis contexts, both as facilitators of collaboration between national actors and international humanitarian actors, and as agents fostering mutual learning between European and extra-European communities in the field of crisis management.
When ?
We are inviting interested organisations – European humanitarian and volunteer-sending organisations, training and evaluation institutions – to become partners in this project and to participate in its joint formulation and implementation.
Interested organisations are invited to get in touch with us before 5 February 2012. The deadline for the submission of pilot projects to the DG ECHO is 5 March 2012.
